Balderdash! Mine was overlooked last year, but it's in June when folks have other things on their minds, and attendance here is lower than usual. I normally check the bottom of the index page several times a week, but unless there is a new signup (Admin link is at the bottom of my page) or chatter in the moderators forum (at the very end of the list for the staff), I may not make it that far down. I think I've actually removed my birthday announcement for security reasons. It just gives one more bit of information to those who mine data for identity theft.

I missed the board announcement yesterday, not the first time. Fred (N8YX) usually looks out for announcements, but he's been busy as hell lately.

I don't accept that "everyone hates you" at all. I recall recent events where a number of members had your back both here and at the cesspool.

I guess I am a little older than that! Once in a while they would have 10/$1 coupons. The closest White Castle to Bloomington was about 40 miles away somewhere on the south side of Indianapolis. We made that trip many times in my '73 Maverick.
