Seems like a man who can find quicksand in a rose garden.

'How To Win Friends And, Influence People'......NOT!

http://files.qrz.com/static/images/icons/icon8.png So, this has got to be the worst place to ask a question...
if you are a new ham or not into radios.

I am on a few other hobby sites that will have a ham section. New guy comes in and ask a question, everyone tries to answer them and help them understand the answer. Might be some good nature ribbing, but the feel is fun and joking.

On here the first 5 responses will be to tell them how dumb they are and the next five will talk about how it was done right 50 years ago.

Yes, new folks need to google first, search the forum to see it has been ask before, and do a little more leg work. But why take the time to bash them when you could just ignore the post or, heave help you, answer in a helpful manner.

They say this is an old man hobby. Maybe that should be "Bitter, grumpy, old man hobby"...

After 30 pages of snark, snide and "Get off my lawn", it degraded into this (who would have guessed):

didn't say I couldn't handle it, just don't understand the need to abuse or demean people(like you did with the big boy pants comment). I really don't care one way or the other about you or your choice in underwear really. You can be wearing your ladies for all I care. Usually someone who makes that kind of comment has issues steming from early childhood, bedwetting and like that. But like I said I don't really care. My point is to agree with the original posting, that if a question is asked and we know the answer then why not answer it without being rude and crude. I guess some just cant do that. If you find the question beneath you., if you feel that "everyone" knows or should know the answer then >>>just>>>don't>>>answer. not really hard at all. AND like I said, I'm just here for the laughs.....

I love it.......from a distance.
