Photographic evidence that off roading was a daily fact of life and possible even in the heart of town. Breakdowns were so common that many cars had a toolbox on the running board, Ford provided specialized tools for jobs standard tools couldn't handle. Before long Kingsford joined Ford; charcoal, a grill, and utensils found their place in another box on the other running board, and the age of roadside grilling was born... flies and ants at no extra charge.

Now they put saltpeter in the briquettes and saturate them with wax eliminating lighter fluid. Trouble is they burn up so fast you have to use the whole bag for one meal and buy more charcoal than you ever needed before Kingsford got greedy... the bastids.
