So, a couple of nights ago, some real maroon runs onto the field at PNC Park during the Pierogie Race. See: http://deadspin.com/shirtless-idiot-crashes-pirates-pierogi-race-1557561601

Well, WPXI Channel 11 news had someone interview the maroon. (As soon as they put the link to the "raw interview" on their web site, I'll post it here) Here it is: http://www.wpxi.com/news/news/local/man-who-ran-field-during-pierogi-race-pirates-game/nfTh6/

He says... he was at the game with... wait for it...

His Bible Study Group.

And... he's a rapper. A Christian Rapper. He did this, he says, on the spur of the moment, to promote his YouTube videos.

I'm not sure where to start on the multiple number of failures here...

Incidentally, he spent the night in jail, he's facing a $2000 fine for trespassing, and he might be banned from the park for life.

And he's planning on auctioning off the shoes he wore that night to raise money for his fine.

You can not make this stuff up. You really can't.

He was just trying to put the "fun" in fundamentalism.

Headline: "Pierogies and piety: Unrepentant runner says 'soul decided' to join race at PNC Park"

The schmuck is quoted as saying "f my stupidity brings one person to the love of Jesus Christ, then I have served a greater purpose and the consequences are well worth it" .

Right.
