Before and After

Years ago, I found my bunker gear in an unusual configuration in my locker. Figured it out some time later when I saw the picture of my daughter wearing it that my wife took during a visit that the Girl Scout Daisy's had been there for.

The other week I was in my office finishing some paperwork up when she popped in from the gymnastics club that she goes to across the street. Before we went home I had her re-create the pose.

At least when I look in a mirror, I can squint my eyes and pretend I haven't picked up any mileage. Kids are like big clear mile markers on the great highway of life. Watching them sprout kinda kills any chance of "plausible denial":squint:

It's the same jacket, just a reflective vest that we have to sport now.
