Anyone interested in a Ten Tec Argonaut V that's in need of a little TLC?

I picked this rig up a few months ago, intending to use it for PSK and other digital modes, plus using it to drive a transverter for 6 meters. It's seen light use, since the intended antenna for it hasn't been put up yet... which is another story.

What's changed? I've been given the opportunity to acquire a Ten Tec Omni VII. I should be taking possession of it tomorrow... and once that happens, the Argonaut V will probably do little more than sit on the shelf and look pretty.

Now, fair warning: The rig has a problem on the output power. It should be about 20 Watts out, I'm only seeing about 5. I have not had a chance to trouble shoot it yet. The original owner told me that John Henry at Ten Tec Service told HIM it was not cost effective to repair... but couldn't find the email explaining what the problem was, and John never got back to me on that. So, ironically enough, it's back to being a true QRP rig "as is".

I'm looking for $100 plus shipping. Price includes mike, factory manual, and the accessory plug in back.

PM me if interested. Thanks!

I've been needing a good quality general coverage rig and I had the money and the stars aligned.
I can slave it to the Corsair that everybody says is a great rig but no one wants to buy.
Even after test driving at a booth, they still think there's something wrong with it. Oh well.

Because sake.

< image snipped for brevity >The Corsair is a great rig. And if I needed one, we'd talk. But I don't need another one.

Thanks Ron.
W3WN is a great person to do business with. We've had a couple other deals in years past that have always went down without a hitch.
This time Ron out did himself by offering such a great deal on an awesome rig.
If Ron ever offers anything for sale, I suggest you jump on it without delay!

Thanks Again, Ron! Happy sailing with your future endeavors!
