It's interesting to note that Tesla was the one who inspired the worn cliche of the "evil mad scientist" in all the old hollywood B movies..... they made Tesla out to be more then what he was.......:yes:

Tesla invented round bacon so he could wind his coil on it and use bacon fat for insulation. Mad am I? We'll SEE whether I'm mad or not!

Tesla has been transformed into somewhat of an enigma.
Is there any speculation that he ever be inducted
into the Alternating Current Hall of Fame?

Tesla was a brilliant and clever man. I place him more in the "engineering" category rather than the "science" category. Unfortulnately some of the tesla cultists have elevated Tesla beyond Tesla's own expectations. They claim Tesla created things that even Tesla never claimed. One such claim is that Tesla developed a "zero point energy" (free energy) machine. But even Tesla himself never claimed to have created such a device nor did he ever claim it was possible.
