Yep, knobs. Touted as a revolutionary idea. But a staple of ham radio since its inception.

The gun door handles are a hoot. There are also gun faucets and gun mugs. I don't want them for my house but if I owned a gun range it would be cute to have.

"There are also gun faucets and gun mugs."
There are also guns for shits and guns for muggers. There, now it's real. I really don't want a gun faucet, with my luck I'd go to wash my face and shoot myself.

Heh, I KNEW she'd get to you. Careful honey, don't trip on the beach or the ocean will pour in and disappear!

Guns don't kill people. Undercooked meat kills people.

Or, more specifically in your case, pork ribs kill people.

Hey, that's not kosher.

Hey, that's not kosher.

When pork ribs are outlawed, only goyim will have pork ribs.

...

I used to be able to buy (beef) short ribs at the store for a relative pittance. Then they became more popular, and the price has gone up to where I'm better off buying a steak. Pity of it is that short ribs feed two -- when I'm done with them, LucyFurr starts in on the bone.

This product is not even revolutionary as far as computers go. I've had a Griffin Powermate for years.

A knob sure is REVOLUTIONary, a switch is not.

It's not just one knob. It's a set of knobs. It's also modular. So you can hook up a set of knobs and sliders to create controls for something like photoshop.

True enough, but since the PowerMate is a USB device you could hook up a bunch of them to your computer. I'm not trying to minimize the usefulness of the item you mentioned, I'm merely pointing out that it's not exactly a new idea.

Hey, Dave! A friend gave me a bound book of QST Magazine, 1970. I was thumbing through it this morning and discovered this:

Sorry about the crappy scan, I used my phone because I was too lazy to drag out a real scanner. You get the idea, though.
