Congrats to the Broncos. Well done squashing the Patties and Brady! Chargers ALMOST caught U last week. If we had another 5 minutes it might have turned out different. Bolts were sound asleep for 3 quarters. But U beat us anyway and now U have kicked Brady's ass, so congrats on going to the Super Bowl. Listenning to the Seattle/ SF game now. SF well ahead, but alotta game to go. Hope to see SF and Broncos in the Super Bowl!

Seattle vs SF, down to the wire, less than two minutes. SF could barely win still... Barely.

Wild and crazy game!

Are the Seahawks coaches still a bunch of crybabies?

And what was with that one player they tried to interview post-game? Something about someone else talking trash about him... and he didn't like it... the sideline reporter even said "nobody's talking about you" and that just set him off again. I guess the good drugs finally kicked in?

No big fan of either team here, but given the choice, I'd like to see Peyton win one. Especially since the media is saying he may have to retire after the season, due to his neck issues.

Seahawks and Broncos, yuck. Since it's not possible for both teams to lose, I guess won't bother watching on the 2nd.

I guess the only thing worse than being 10 feet under the 20 yard line is being 10 feet below the parking lot?

If it's a sunny day, that means six more months of NBA games. ;)

A lot of noise signifying nothing. :neener:

Reverberations in New Jersey. (http://www.nj.com/super-bowl/index.ssf/2014/01/say_it_aint_so_kansas_city_chiefs_stunning_wild_ca rd_loss_undermines_groundhogs_super_bowl_predictio .html)

The Chiefs broke Missouri hearts with their fourth-quarter collapse and in the process, the team also undermined the credibility of an Essex County groundhog.Clover, the resident weather prognosticator at the Turtle Back Zoo in West Orange, predicted that the Chiefs would win the first-ever Groundhog Day Super Bowl at MetLife Stadium.

She made her selection by scampering towards a chunk of fruit placed under a mini Chiefs football helmet.

At the time, the Kansas City team was at the tail end of a glorious autumn. They won nine straight games, with a formidable defensive unit that led the league in sacks. Running back, Jamaal Charles made history, scoring four touchdowns before halftime when the Chiefs took on the Oakland Raiders last month and secured a wild card playoff slot.

Clover’s Kansas City leanings were understandable and it looked like the stars were aligning for the Chiefs in Indianapolis on Saturday. At halftime, they had a 21-point edge over the Colts. During the third quarter, however, Indianapolis rallied to recover from the deficit with three touchdowns. The Colts caught up and surpassed the Chiefs in the fourth quarter, capping a wild night with two more touchdowns. The final score was 45-44.

The groundhog may have been off selecting the Chiefs as top team in the AFC but her NFC pick, the New Orleans Saints, could make it to the Super Bowl. They defeated the Philadelphia Eagles on Saturday 26-24.

Next week, the Saints will square off against the Seattle Seahawks.
And we now know how all that went...
