There may be a shortage of Velveeta (http://www.cbsnews.com/news/kraft-faces-a-cheesy-meltdown-with-velveeta-shortage/), the cheese-like substance often consumed in mass quantities at Superbowl parties. The article is short on details but I'm assuming it has something to do with Kraft Foods, Inc, running low on polymer feed stocks.

Unhappy citizens riot more easily then happy citizens. Theres a reason why Velveeta is such a big seller. Kraft is setting itself up to take over the free world!

Uh oh.

Little Miss Field Day consumes Velveeta & Shells almost daily. (She calls it "mac and cheese" which technically it's not).

A shortage? If you hear about a teenage girl going beserk and beheading her parents, well, you'll know the rest of the story...

Will we eventually develop a new organ to deal with all the plastic we eat?

Is that stuff kosher, Ron? And, if so, under which category? It couldn't be dairy since it's not really cheese and it's made mostly of vegetable oil.

“We were surprised to find a lot of information about how many microbial species that make sweat or feet smell the way they do are closely related to species that make cheeses smell the way they do”

Yeah, I'll bet they were...

Italian Velveeta, if there is such a thing, would be made from Olive Oil. Interesting proposition.
Would anyone here consider cheese made from Italian mammeries? I mean, people eat that stuff that comes out of goat teats. Last year, Stephanie Abrams said she would try donkey cheese. It came up in a little side item on the morning weather circus.

Donkey cheese followed by a little donkey punch?

The brand has been showing mold growth, according to Kraft's third-quarter health inspection release. Fans welcome a hunk of Limburger cheese at a Super Bowl party.

I prefer my Limburger spread on Town House crackers. If it's Rush Limburger I prefer it spread on a highway by a truck.

(If you know where to buy it, that is) There's enough in it that it's considered dairy, but the reality is that it could be considered the same as fruits & vegetables.

I don't know about the rest of the country but here in the NYC area and surrounding suburbs just about all commercial food products are labeled Kosher.

A relative brought my Grandmother some limburger cheese many years ago. Rumor has it that the stuff smelled so bad she threw it out of the window. of course Limberger cheese gets it's unique (and quite miserable) odour from the same bacteria that causes smelly feet.

And where do you think the cheese gets the bacteria from?

Actually, if you can get past the smell you'll love the flavor.

Where all the fevers grow
Under the water
Where the shark bubbles blow
In the mornin'
By yer radio.
Do the walls close in t'suffocate ya?
You aint got no friends . . .
An all the others: they hate ya,
Does the life you been leadin gotta go?
Well, let me straighten you out
About a little chunka cheese I know.
