This is the view from my hotel window. Anyone want to hazard a guess as to where I am?

Downtown San Diego?

Hotel Palomar, maybe on floor 8 through 10?

Phoenix?

That was my first thought as well, as the dark brown building looks like the county court house, but the building behind it doesn't look familiar. That one almost looks like it has a Bank of America logo on it, and I don't recall one being around there.

ETA the smaller building just to the left and behind the tall brown one looks like the old Westward Ho Hotel downtown. If it had a broadcast antenna on it, that would clench it, but I don't see it.

I was there once a week for 6 months for Grand Jury duty. Skyline looks familiar as well as some of the smaller buildings. I always walked from my hotel to the courthouse, and that picture just looks familiar for some reason, not least of which is the colors of the Southwest architecture.

No problem. Pay no attention to the buzzing outside your window. Oh, by the way don't stand at the window in your underwear, people might see you!

Nah, the XYL and I got a freebie from one of her clients so we pawned the grand-rodents off on one of her brothers, care of the MIL off on one of her sisters and took a few days vacation of sorts; not in distance, perhaps, but at least in responsibility.

BTW, did you use Google Earth to figure it out?

BoA buildings are kind of landmarks throughout the USA. I Googled all BoA buildings to figure out which city that was in. Once I identified the building and location, then I used Google Earth to orient to your position location.

There are plenty of parking spaces in downtown San Diego. None of them are free, or near wherever it is you want to go, but they are there.

Well, that's different, and I did object to the finger wave I was subjected to prior to dropping it in the mail slot.

West Lynn, MB is one of those wild Canadian border towns. Go there on a Saturday night and take in the donkey show some time; you'll never be the same.

He probably hasn't ever seen a Donkey grin before, either. I have to admit, when I saw it the first time, I thought, wow, look at that ass crack.....a smile.

The biggest church in Green Bay,
where on a typical Sunday,
80,750 of the faithful gather
to watch their Eleven priests
try to move the Sacred Pigskin
to the altar at one end,
opposed by 11 of the
opposing priests.
