<hands in passport to Island immigration for validation>

Well whilst I wait for my passport to be verified. Its been a while hasnt it. I decided that its time to come back home for a bit, see whats going on and say hi to all you fine island folk.

Im, Ok....Still working for the Army (shameless plug --> GO NAVY BEAT ARMY) still trying to find a job that isnt 83 miles away from home. Still have my license, trying to get back on the air. Just been busy with work and yammering on twitter.

Anyhow, I'll wait for that drink and start hanging out on the island again.

ME!

You just missed some discussion all about you a few weeks ago; but I (alone) stuck up for ya. I'm just that kind of a rat.

Welcome home, Ren.

BTW We chipped in and built you a new hutch while you were away. I think the "whinny little bitch" (Pope Carlo I) has the key to the lock. I know he has the only one to my wife's chastity belt.

And don't worry Ren. I'll keep LucyFurr away from you. She's out in the backyard chasing your kin at the moment, though (good thing they're all too fast for her)

Yea, I'm curious about that.

I may be riding again, a buddy has a 2001 Concours, and wants my Pegasus + a little cash.
The YL likes the idea, this one is farkled properly for the passenger.

Gawd, I miss riding....

Talk to me about this one: Besides being set up correctly for Betts, what else has been done to the bike - motor-wise? The COG bunch has a number of reliability and performance fixes available for that series Concours. I had considered a ZG1000 for years before I ended up getting hold of the ZG1400.

As far as the bolded:

I can usually ride mine to work throughout the month of November and often I make it all the way through the Christmas holiday season - we usually don't find ourselves snowed in (so to speak) until January.

Both of mine are now on the battery tenders with full tanks of stabilized fuel and have been since mid-November; it's been snowing or raining constantly since then.

The '08 is due for its winter oil change but not many miles have been accrued since the previous one. I need time to get to the bike shop for supplies -and- warm enough, dry enough conditions to make this happen.

You can always service it in the living room. Warm, dry, comfy, what else do you need? Oh yeah, some newspaper and a few paper towels for those oil spills on the carpet.

Doorways are too narrow.

I've checked.
