Cosmophone, a military surplus radio damp proofed with cosmoline? Cosmo The Double Cosmo-nator... Cosmo Topper? Clutch Cargo, a shipping container full of clutches? Maybe the Cosmophone got Clutch Cargoed? Baba Yagi, the Japanese cousin of Baba Yuga half brother of Sathya Sai Baba is an interesting fellow (but not the most interesting man in the world since he never parallel parked a train) but confusing, at least we know Almighty Vlad is the name of Fearless Leader.

"Natural gas-powered radio, da?"
That's a twist, does it have an atomic powered operator?

GOB don't know from Cosmophone? I don't believe it for a second.

Baba Yagi? Think Russian Witch Ham Shack on Chicken Legs.

Clutch Cargo? I don't believe you're unfamiliar for a New York second.

Rollout cancelled for momentary lack of bad judgement? That would indicate good judgement so now I'm confused, that post was incredibly funny so I just don't understand... oh well.

"GOB don't know from Cosmophone? I don't believe it for a second."
Believe it, I'm not a walking boat anchor encyclopedia. (;->) The picture fooled me for a moment because I couldn't read the words and the logo is the same as WRL. OK, checked Google Images and found where you got it from and that was clear enough, then I went to the page and it was explained.

"Baba Yagi? Think Russian Witch Ham Shack on Chicken Legs."
LOL! It reminded me of a Who song, In The Hut Of Bubba Yuga and I took it from there getting more rediculous as I went as usual.

"Clutch Cargo? I don't believe you're unfamiliar for a New York second."
I remember it, that was just more of my nonsense.

Molotov cocktails and yak turds? You guys are getting as bad as me! (;->) Anyway Jeff, while I was looking for Clutch Cargo inspiration I came up with that "Clutch Cargoed" industry expression and applied it to the Cosmophone animation. The lips thing has become so very common, Joel Veetch uses it in his animations:

GOB, no, an isolated incident of good judgement was responsible for the cancellation. But I do appreciate your funny vote. Cosmo may eventually return with a new persona. And then there's Pugsy Pinchell, The BIG MOUTH ham gossip colummist. And Talking Dog-Faced Ham. And…well, in yesterday's quick Facebook/Twitter test marketing, cards from my old QSL collection got liked and seen more by a factor of ten, so I gave him the hook for now.

Cosmophones have their cult and while I don't pay dues, I fell under their charm back in their day, if only for the name.

Properly Baba Yaga, the witch of Slavic folklore who flies around in Segway-esque wooden pestle and mortar and lives in a house supported by giant living chicken legs, may well be Queen of all that's off the hook. Russian illustrator Ivan Bilibin kicked out all the jams with his take on Babs and crib, attached below.

The demo animation app I used for Cosmo and SpaceDash! is actually far beyond Clutch, albeit by modern standards, strictly Earl Shieb I'll Animate Anything You Draw For 99 Dollars software.
http://www.reallusion.com/crazytalk/crazytalk.aspx Will check your rathergood link. Apparently CrazyTalk has been around for some time, but I'm well out of that loop, so it's kind of like, hey, have you seen this wild new app called Photoshop?

Nevertheless, it's way, way too much fun, like I need another non-profit time black hole to feed. Speaking of Dire Straits, Got to move those QSL cards, Microwave Ovens, Color TVVVVVs!

Tnx man! Recall copying wars at school seeing who could draw the best Rat Fink racer. While I built car kits, badly, lotta AMT 3 in 1 and a Rat Fink or two, I was more Mad Mag, Don Martin oriented than the REAL car crazy kids so I couldn't hold a candle to their super racing slicks and blowers and Hurst shifters. Geez, that was fun! Also drew a lot of cutaway mountain submarine pens, incorporating cool Swedish underground jet fighter hangers I saw on TV.

Watch out for those isolated incidents of good judgement, you'll ruin your reputation. (;->) There's another character you overlooked, since we've built our infrastructure around nonpolluting energy sources we couldn't overlook the skiff. The motor was replaced by a streamlined cousin of Dash!, Paddlefoot.

Strange, until you came up with that boat anchor I thought a Cosmophone was what the Russian space guys use to call home, live and learn. Speaking of boat anchors, since there are so many R-390s around we found it's just right for the skiff.

I was thinking that Baba Yaga may have inspired the Who, being the first band to vomit in the park they were probably quite drunk at the time like Jim Morrison slurring words at all the sessions. Carrying a mortar and pestle tells me she was the village shaman who practiced herbal medicine, what Hebrews call the yenta. FYI if you don't already know, Baba is a term of endearment in many European languages and no wonder, she's the healer. As an aside I'm not too fond of how the church demonized the word witch, originally it meant healer and witchcraft was the art of medicine.

Earl Schieb; I'll paint any car for $19.95... RRRIIIiiight. My male parental unit had the old '50 Cheby done at the local shop, it came back in flat grey with the trim painted over. Now what's wrong with this picture? More to follow, after rains there was a grey outline on the ground around it. No wonder he didn't stay in business very long!

Speaking of Photoshop, it makes a good digital image processor for promotional pictures. Here I am in California on the campaign trail, unfortunately my backers weren't rich enough to get a Democratic Socialist elected or I could have turned this country around. How's no more foreign wars, a proper national health care system, a strong manufacturing base with plenty of jobs and a budget surplus sound? Oh well.

"He has always been a favorite of mine, right behind that Dash guy."
Uh oh, I don't think Dash! can outrun the Rat Rod and we wouldn't want him to end up like Brian!

Ed Roth and his alter ego Rat Fink have become cult icons and it started when the term rat fink had a short stint in our vocabulary. Alan Sherman wrote and performed a tune, even if he cat's spell it was a hit. Stop by the Alpha Hotel Lounge sometimes and request it from our inimitable bar band, not that anyone would WANT to imitate them.

Back to Ed for a moment, there's a 2006 hot rod movie out there called Tales Of The Rat Fink, soundtrack and album by the Canadian band, the Sadies. If I could find them so can you hot rod cultists so get looking. (;->)

YOU GUYS ARE A LAUGH RIOT! Then there is Danny Campos, if I remember correctly is Mexican who makes money from his condition. http://wolfsongalaska.org/Hypertrichosis_Wherewolves

BTW, you remember Jack The Ripper, he was the REAL beaver cleaver! Then there was the memorable line spoken by June; Ward, you were awfully hard on the Beaver last night.

"And what became of the head yours replaced on the campaign trail? I hope it found a good home."
Since I didn't have a (Futurama) jar to put it in I put it back where I got it from, the real Abbey Normal.
