I have for auction my Drake UV-3. It's in "dang good" condition and works great. It comes with the original Drake operator's and service manuals (in the blue Drake notebook), and the Drake 1525EM DTMF mic.

E-Mail me for more pics, details, or a schedule to hear it if you live close enough to me. I'm in Dahlonega, GA. The buyer will pay the actual shipping costs.

It just keeps going up.....LOL
I don't have a clue how much they usually run price wise but that is out of my range.

I had three fully working examples a few years ago. Sold the cosmetically nice ones for $350 (IIRC..) and the functional but "average" unit (which wasn't that bad in reality) for $275. Also had several boxes of spare parts and manuals which were sold to a fellow Drake enthusiast.

The following is heresy to an "enthusiast" but what replaced the UV3 in the shack and in one of the autos is Kenwood TMx21 and TMx31 stacks: TM221/321/421 for house usage and a TM701/TM331 w/ RC-20 for 'DSG's car.

Still, to a period collector the UV3/PS3 combo is a must-have.

You did good! Make sure everything works.

Hams on ebay are the pickiest people in the world.

Yep, she's sold. I used to use it to talk to my dad on 220MHz before my mother passed, but since then he has moved into another part of the house and never gets on. I just never use it and figgered someone out there would either want it as a collector or user or both.
