Aliens Marathon

So I'm watching the Aliens marathon on AMC. You know, the ones where Sigorney Weaver fights the slimey scary aliens.

I can't help wondering - Wouldn't a creature that is constantly dripping slime like these critters, get dehydrated eventually?

It gets regular fluid infusions from it's victims.

I think some of our denizens here are dripping whiskey, and it hasn't affected them so far.
