There is a simple solution to all the problems with passenger service as opposed to cargo; anesthesia, then stuff them in shipping containers and handle them as cargo. If anesthetized at the terminal before processing the TSA can play all the touchy-feely they like and nobody will complain. It's a win-win situation for everybody, especially for those with weight and balance issues.
