Is it for real? That is, the guy isn't just an actor?

It's real. It happened here in Ohio. The man's name is Matthew Cordle. The prosecutor assigned to this case saw the video today. Mr. Cordle has not been formally charged yet.

This video is just a lowlife attempting to get sympathy from his sob story and alleged honesty and sincerity. HHe is posturing for a reduced sentence. I hope they hang the bastard (literally)..

I don't think he will get hanged, but he will probably become someone's bitch when he serves his prison sentence. Most folks here in Ohio agree with John that he is posturing with his weak mea culpa. I have been so drunk that I could not walk, but I took a taxi cab home. He does not get any pity from me. :disagree:

I'm the designated driver...and at times the designated drunk. But not both at once.

When that happens it makes it easier for the public to blow off the message.

I'm always the designated driver. Never the designated drunk.
