Let us remember one of Dale's final posts on The Island.. https://forums.hamisland.net/showthread.php/21137-W5RB-your-turn-HB?p=480214&viewfull=1#post480214

Each of our SKs should have a day of remembrance of their own, rather than sharing.
There's no problem with calling it a birthday, as their birth was not negated by their death, and the mechanism needs no changing.

And who says they're gone? Those bar tabs are going up MUCH faster than even the hardiest of living Islanders can manage alone. I suggest we put up a GhostCam near the bar and investigate the matter.

73,In accordance with Island policy, Dale's account profile has been updated. Our belated condolences to his friends and family..

Wow... I am sad to hear this. I remember we used to talk about math related topics from time to time as he was one of the more saavy islanders when it came to knowledge of advanced level math and science related topics. . Then why not, he went to MIT which is the best and he worked as a scientist. 52 years is too young to pass away. I'm really saddened and I will miss him. This is really bad news :(

I was busy yesterday and missed this thread.
This is sad and I'm so sorry to her about this. So young.
Say hey to Abli for us, Dale. I'm sure he has found the finest single malt to sip at the table with the greatest authors in history.

I too missed this thread. Dale has already been missed. Now, we know why. There are several others who came, and went. Now, I wonder. My thoughts, and meditations go out for his loved ones. RIP, and 73 Dale. You are missed here.
