Eric Clapton and so many others covered JJ. I am blessed to have seen him perform.

"Basically, I'm just a guitar player that figured out I wasn't ever gonna be able to buy dinner with my guitar playing so I got into songwriting, which is a little more profitable business."
He was SOOOooo right and I learn something every day. I never heard him play, never even knew his name but OH BOY, his song writing ROCKS! For what it's worth, (rather little) a CBer, Lenny Kalish aka the Breeze after Lynard Skynard written by JJ Cale. Then there was COOOooo Breeze, always said that handle like he was riding the SOOOooo Train. Funny how sparks illuminate dim memories.
