At least there's no Lance Armstrong.

But everyone else is probably juicing.

Lance said it was impossible to win without juicing.

Yes, but that was in the time he was in the tour.
I'll be watchingenjoying the scenery they show and where we mostly were on holliday as family in the South Albi etc.

They ought to call the race Le Jus de France.

They ought to call the race Le Jus de France.

Around here that's known as French Dip.
They do try to attract cyclists here though.

I'm just glad that all those other sports have that "enhancement" under control...

On another note, you could take a year and train, and with your best diet and the best coach and on your best day, Lance could show up half-drunk and with the flu, and still kick your ass in a bike race. haha

Today's stage was great. Me and my darling wife were cheeringBakelants on as he crossed the line one second in front of the charging field. What a wild last few km.

I love the country and the people. If I had the cash, I think we'd pull up stakes and move there and may someday. Who knows.

My ( our) favourite holliday destination numerous times, stayd mostly in the south east or lowr middle ring of volcano's area.
In the south near Albi you can find lots of history dating back 20 centuries or more if you look for it.
We were not the usual tourists we were actively looking up culture and history, visited many church there, musea, and the older parts of the city's.

My French language skills are rudimentary, my ex wife is fluent in French.
Maybe next year i might go there alone or with my son that lives with me.
Miss the local scenery, people, and life, food, there.

Don't really have a desire to go to France, outside of Le Mans for the race.

But Cor - if I can ride out my current gig long enough, our main European distributor is based out of s'Heerenberg...would be fun to split a week there in the country and Amsterdam :)

BBQ, if you ride you are close enough to do the Cheaha Challenge http://www.cheahachallenge.com/ . 102 miles, uphill both ways.

Same here. I love the little towns in the South near Nice. Eze was a nice visit. Heck, most of them were.

Thanks for that link. I think one of my riding group did that a few years ago. It sure looks like a sufferfest from the profile.
