I’m not sure if any peeps are interested in cryptography and physics. However, this article is very good at explaining how complicated it can get just to send a simple coded message.

I think this post is over the islands heads, maybe we should remove it. The more I read this article, the more I think it might cause brain damage. We need to go back to drinking at the bar...

Slacker! A draft with your toast seems to be quite the norm here. Then again, so is an espresso after dinner at around 10PM. I guess things are a bit backwards.

Totally feeling that today.
Our recording session was cut short by a tornado last night, so the power goes off.
We proceed to drink until 4:30AM while telling war stories.
I pretty much feel like shit.

Oh and I have it on good authority that our own Godfather was in Huntsville at the time watching as my unforgettable experience unfolded....

Well to get back to the boring part, I think the boring article was very interesting. We are going to need to develop better methods of encryption as time goes on. Now back to wine, women, and song or, drugs, sex, and rock n roll.

I must have been too sober when I read it and got all scientific minded. The glass crystal prism thingy got me all fuzzy. Don’t worry it wont happen again..

I've seen what hurricanes can do in person. Much larger area of destruction.

Last 2 years we took back to back hits, first from Irene in 2011 and then from Sandy last year in 2012. Irene produced more flooding here but less wind. Sandy producd much less flooding (in my immediate area) but an incredible amount of wind damage. Both were Cat 1 hurricanes by the time they reached here. We lost power for close to a whole week. many were out much longer. This year I am going to try and be better prepared. I am going to try and get a generator and, am also going to make sure I have a few weeks supply of any medications I need on hand. Last year I was running low and things were getting a bit scary. God forbid we get hit with a Cat 2, 3, 4, or 5 hurricane this year this area will be out of commission for several weeks.
