As I was going through some old college notes, tucked away in a pocket in a notebook was my calculator, which we used in college in the old days (not as old as Cor - Slide rule, you know... (friendly poke)). It is a Casio fx-7000G. Great calculator in its day. Of course, dead batteries. So i stopped in at the local CVS, bought batteries, and there it was. Contrast was waaaaaayyyy off, and fortunately, Casio has a faq page - question #3, contrast adjustments. So, before I buttoned up the back, i left a note explaining how to adjust the contrast, just in case of the next time....
