Hi to all Members of the Group,

I am David, EC4ACH, from Spain.

Many thanks to permit to me to take a chair to sitting with you to talk about Ham Radio.

I like too much the boatanchors and the rigs of the 80-90's. Rigs here are: Restored Hot Water 101 & SB-102 by Heathkit, with SB-600 & HP-23 power supply. I have also but in restoring process, a station monitor SB-610 and a Scanalyzer SB-620, trying to convert them to 3395 KHz Heath's intermediate frequency, because is very hard to find the appropiate coils for it. Complete line of the Yaesu FT-102, Kenwood TS-830S Gold label plus AT-230, Icom IC-260A, Yaesu FT-767GX with all optional modules restored recently and more 'modern' rigs like Kenwoods TS-50S plus AT-50, TM-255E and TM-455A.

In the past, I had a Swan Astro 150 and I am talking with a friend that have one here in Spain and I try to convince him to sell me, hi, hi.

That's all for the moment after this brief presentation.

We keep in touch!.

Best 73 de David, EC4ACH.

Oh no, another David? ;)

Heathkit green is a nice color. Welcome to Ham Island, sir.

We'll translate the American slang for you, if needed.

Smoking crabs are crabby, watch out for them on our beaches...

Welcome to the Island, David! You'll find the natives (mostly) friendly, at least as long as you stay out of the politics and strong opinions forums.

Barkeep, give this man the drink of his choice and put it on my tab. And make it the good stuff.
