A miniature fully developed skeleton has been found by DNA evidence to be all too Human although they can't explain it's small size.

Video Here. (http://www.space.com/20938-tiny-alien-like-skeleton-contains-human-dna-video.html)

As usual you "humans" with your inflated egos think you're something special without ever realizing there is no galactic patent on your DNA. You also trivialized our emissary who using the nom de plume Rod Serling and his educational TV presentation so no wonder you're confused thinking the human skeleton a mystery. There is no copyright on the name you gave to your planet, it simply means "soil", the land that you live on. What makes you think WE think any differently? Now trot on down to the video store for a copy of Invaders which SHOULD have told you size is relative... and you thought it was entertainment.

I think that was about the only TZ episode that had no dialog.

I'm wondering if their scientists told them that there was no way a human being could ever get to 6' tall. That it was a scientific impossibility...

I don't know, but look at the size of those staples.
