Yep.
My grandmother had off air tapes she recorded on her circa 1965 Sony Reel to Reel. KFOG and KBAY had the blue hair market covered in the 60's.
Far cry from Dave Moray and "10 at 10", eh?

I loved it when the house band for Jimmy Fallon played Fishbone's "Lyin' ass Bitch" on Michelle Bachmann's intro.
She had no clue.

I remember many of those callsigns, during the heyday of radio I was an avid MW DXer and loved it when stations had that hometown flavor. One small goof I noticed, WNEW was on the crawl but they played old standards mostly from the '40s while WNEW-FM was the rocker. What did you do with the largest rock and roll record library you inherited David Bloomberg? Considering how much of it was unknown or little known rarities I'm sure His Dishonor has no idea the true value of what I'm sure he bought for a song... pun intentional.

One of my favorite was the lines "KSIN, we REFUSE you!, KUSA, Hallelujah"
I remember KUSA was big Jesus radio in the 80's on shortwave.
One of those guys was a SWL, obviously.
Oddly enough, the guitarist in the video abruptly left the band and joined a religious cult. Some time passed and the bass player took it upon himself to go and "rescue" him. Bass player was arrested for kidnapping, but later let off the hook....they have had numerous guys filling that position since. The only constant original members from the earliest days are the singer and the bass player.
