This reminds me of the time I traveled to Australia in 1981......I was flying from Honolulu to Sydney we were at 31,000 feet many hundreds of miles from the nearest land over the South Pacific Ocean.... at 4 A.M.......on a Continental airlines DC-10 which, for that species of plane,at that time did'nt have a particular golden safety record...... we hit a tropical storm enroute.... my finger nail marks were I swear deep in the seat rests!! ......and I love flying......still do! :yes:
