For staying up all night to fix the Island servers. Above and beyond the call of duty, IMHO.

There's a report I've received via e-mail that Eham's forums are completely down as well........ I think Jeff can give them some pointers on running a viable ham forum site!

We had a real bozo on the night shift.. he wanted to fdisk, format, reinstall.. doodah.. doodah.. WTF? This ain't Windows, kid.

Everything except, perhaps, the inhabitants.

The sand under the bar where the vault is with the good stuff is certainly stable.

Hoo, boy, why did you go and do that?? Did you feel your brain shrink to the size of a kumquat at the instant they handed you your temporary license?

Seriously, what class and endorsements did you get? I've got a class A with T, P, and N endorsements. I let the hazmat endorsement go last time because I wasn't thinking that I'd ever go back to OTR, now I kind of wish I hadn't.

Class B with air brakes. We got a new huge ass bucket truck, pretty much like this one... Altec TA50.

One could make a bit of money doing tower work with that thing.

(And thanks for all the work you put into the site rebuild, Jeff!)

I'm sure you could have coaxed them to go out rf you had tried harder, or told them you were a ham radio operator.

The inhabitants were never stable.
