Thanks for the B-day wishes all. Just one beer involved today. Took the day off work to go bum around with the wife. Started the day off with a fire call. Then dropped the new (to me) truck (2003 Silverado 1500HD LS 4x4) off to get the 5th wheel towing stuff installed...$500 out the door on that. Lunch at an all you can eat Indian place where I had my one and only beer of the day. Came home in time to get polished up a bit and then go off to a birthday party for a family friend and then home to watch the ham radio episode of Last Man Standing. It was fun to see the SKCC membership certificate that I provided finally show up in the background. Just about time to pull the plug here for the night as I have to go to work in the morning. Betting that I won't get a solid night of sleep as there is a wintery mix of snow and sleet slicking up the roads as I post this.
