What were/is your favorite book?

Around 780 million adults worldwide cannot read or write (http://blogs.independent.co.uk/2012/03/02/world-book-day-lets-get-children-reading/).

With statistics like this, it's vital we make the most of events like World Book Day and encourage young people to make the most of reading.
The World Book Day team has provided some top tips for telling stories (http://www.worldbookday.com/storycraft/) from bestselling authors, as well as the chance for students to pick up one of eight titles for just $1.

I just finished Bill O'Reilly's "Killing Kennedy" which was better than I expected. It sounds a lot like the way Bill-o talks, but is more interesting than I expected. The constant references to the timeline to the assasination is a PITA, but otherwise a good read.

Presently on 11-22-63 by Stephen King. It was a freebie from Barnes and Noble for one day. Another book about the Kennedy Assasination (50th Anniversary this year). B&N also has the complete Sherlock Holmes for free today too. One catch. It's only in NOOK ePub format and only if you have an account.

I tried to read "The Life of Riley", but it didn't make much sense.

Actually, I like to read books written by James Michener.

"I tried to read "The Life of Riley", but it didn't make much sense."

The TV show starring William Bendix didn't make sense either but that's comedy. Then there was The Life Of Riley Hollingsworth, he was funny too.
