It'll take more than rings and a valve job to fix that place up.

He says no one hates him but it would appear that someone wants that eatery closed.

"We won't be going to the Piston for breakfast Saturday."

Even though it's about a 20 minute walk I guess not, somebody was pissed off and pissed on the Piston. (Wa e say?) Yeah, the Yamma yo mamma ha ha ha is just fine, the hole was eaten through the front right corner facing Chestnut, the foyer is facing Crown Point the width of two cars from it. The operator wasn't satisfied knocking a big hole in the wall, he raised the bucket trying to rip the roof off... DAYUM!

Hope it opens again. The owner was planning a couple of classic car shows in the parking lot this year.

Oh it'll reopen alright, in the video they weren't placing a prefab wall section across the squared off hole for nothing. The roof support joists are fixable, I've seen planks nailed across breaks years old holding up well. Structural repairs are easy but replacing ripped up wiring and duct work not so easy but doable, it won't be long before those who don't know can't tell it ever happened. I'm just wondering what the previous name was, Google Street View shows the sign but with the best angle from Crown Point it's mostly unreadable.

It's at the intersection of US route 130 north/crown point rd , and Chestnut street.
