We've got them living up here in New York. Spotted them a few times roaming round the yard at night.

Also, a couple weeks ago I had an owl hanging round on the tree overlooking my yard. He just parked himself on a tree branch and sat there looking to spot whatever he could catch and eat. And judging from the amount of shit that was on the ground right below the area where he was perched I would say he must have been eating quite well.

Those things were all over Sacramento. There's nothing like seeing Mom with a gaggle of babies clinging to her back waddling down a suburban street.

They're not too keen on people...

Those things were all over Sacramento.

The Bay Area and southern California as well. They've adapted to suburbia remarkably well.

We keep possums in the house here. Wife has them for pets.

Possum belly and chitterlings, Beverly Hillbillies food. Granny's a good cook but some times there's jus' no reasonin' with her.
