I'm sort'a familiar with that artistic process. I have two Beagles that absolutely hate when I bring the leaf blower out.

Clever and interesting yet foolish and extremely dangerous. If a blade should snap or a pert comes loose it will take someones head off !!!

No, I am not proposing any laws to stop them. As a person who has both used and repaired leaf blowers I am simply saying it is dangerous to aim the high velocity air exhaust at any living person or animal. A broken fan blade or parts inside the blower mechanism can become dangerous projectiles launched out the business end of the blower at 200 mph !! and can cause very serious injury or death. I have seen things get flung out the end of a blower and all I can say is thank God it was not pointed at any living thing, human or otherwise.

However, if people are aware of the risks and still prefer to point a high velocity leaf blower at their faces then by all means, let them. It's their life and health not mine.

You're talking about old blowers that were never serviced by a professional blowersmith. Probably once taken apart by a novice with a golden screw driver.

Yeah, loose perts can be a problem.

"You're talking about old blowers that were never serviced by a professional blowersmith."

Sounds like Monica and Bill, that loose pert was particularly troublesome and he was no professional.

Nope... it can happen with a brand new leaf blower or one serviced by a pro. Mechanical parts are known to fail. Putting your head in front of the business end of a leaf blower while it's reved up full is dangerous no matter what. Like I said, what chances people take with their lived and health is their business and their own risk. However, putting ones face in front of a blower is not something I recommend.

It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye. Or a pert.

I once had a link to a gif of a nude woman skydiving. The play back was slowed down to show how the air pressure from falling affected the body.

Like I said, they can do whatever they want for all i care. It's just not something I would recommend doing.
