View Full Version : Still looking for an SB-600 speaker box - virtually ANY condition will work

Had a few nibbles, but I don't want a NEW or NEAR NEW SB-600 box... I just
can't bring myself to take nice gear apart just for the parts.

So I'm still hunting for a very used SB-600 speaker cabinet to house a homebrew
project. I don't need the speaker, the grille, or the feet - it just needs to be
straight and no extra holes on the top or sides, and no dents.

Paint condition can be ANYTHING - it will be sanded and repainted.

Cheap is a big factor too and part of why I want a "fixer upper".

Anyone have one lying around in the garage or shop?

dave at W7UUU dot net or PM me here - both work fine.

Thanks!

Sorry, I dont have one. However you have my curiosity. Why does it have to be an SB-600? Does this project involve matching the unit to something else of similar size? If not, there are some companies out there that sell custom enclosures at good prices.
