My home-boy stepped up his game!
I directed him to the island, he should be here shortly I hope.

That's a big 10-4, good buddy! How many pills is he bringing along with him?

He's was QRO Tube operator/builder, he has always had the technical ability, he just switched over from "The Dark Side".
BTW: The popular local vernacular is, "Roger-Four" or "10-Roger" for affirmative answers and "10-Negative you, Cotton-Chopper" for "NO" on 27.025 Mhz. The only "Good Buddies" I've heard about wear pantyhose and drive for J.B. Hunt Trucking Company. The operate different radios and use a different frequency.

So now we'll get to hear what 50 kW can do in the 75 meter band?

The late Zach Reynolds (of the tobacco family) would claim prior art, as would a few of his contemporaries.

He's a Tech... Since he already has experience with tube amps and has proven himself a scofflaw.... probably...... I'll bet he doesn't ID though......We'll know him by his roger beeper.

And of course, you are correct. My apologies to our new member. We've had some bad experiences in this area when some of the CB crowd (a crowd I once was part of) came over to amateur radio. I know that only a small percentage are a problem.

I didn't know we even had a trucking company but we have a few mother truckers who need to go away. Funny how CBerphobia operates, I knew an OT ham on my old club repeater who never heard of CB who frequently said he was "destinated" and drew negatory remarks time after time until the critics realized you can't teach an old ham new tricks. Keep on truckin' with the greasy side up and the shiny side down, catch ya on the flip flop in case you get the wheels down and I'm NOT your good buddy, I'm your worst nightmare... PUNKIE! UUUGGGHHH!
I never did like that pseudo-word "destinated".
Amp builder, hmmm? Boy, am I tempted to ask him a few questions... but no shekels for the proper components, at present.
