View Full Version : Ugh. Won't Make it home for the December 25 brouhaha
I'm stuck here in Spokane, WA. Not in jail. The truck decided to suck not just one, but THREE fuel injectors. Kenworth is HOPING they'll have it done by tomorrow afternoon, or Monday morning at the latest. But.... at 1472 miles from this hotel room to the driveway....Mom is having to spend Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday alone at home. The neighbours will check in on her, however.
I didn't want her to stay home alone, while my stepfather went over to 6-land to see his son...but that 41 year old closed minded drama queen has both my mom and I wishing he was worth more than a single .357 hollow-point. Oh well....I'll spare y'all the drama.

That blows, Elvis was stationed in Germany and you're stuck in Spokane so you have something in common.

Sorry you can't get home in time for Christmas, Kevin. I hope that can get you back on the road quickly.

And we hope the 6 lander stays at his current value.
Sorry to hear this. Here's hoping that they get their act together in time.
Got the truck back late this afternoon.... #2 injector shorted out, frying the wiring harness to the front 3 injectors. Replaced bad injector and wiring harness (wonder if both were Lucas products LOL), and truck runs great now. Now to get a load home.......

It's kind of a PITA to get from Spokane to Tucson in a hurry. I enjoyed driving US 89 but it's hard to make good time on that road in a big truck.

Sure does sound like they were! Glad you got it going, have a good trip home!
Good to hear things worked out for you. Look us up when next in the Akron area and we'll break bread together.

Well my rig's a little old but that don't mean she's slow,
There's a flame from her stack and that smoke's a blowin' black as coal.
My hometown's a comin' in sight,
If you think I'm a happy you're right!
Six days on the road and I'm a gonna make it home tonight.
Brother Ron...I won't leave here till the morning. But I will strive to have a safe trip.
