Heard about it, problem is i have no time for the world to end, so i suspended that to aa later dat, much later, like a billion of 4 years or so...

If the world ends this Friday, guess I will miss the Visalia DX Convention next April and the Dayton Hamvention next May.

Hey, no shit! I really want there to be an 'end of days' special event station...i would hang that card right up over the shack as soon as it came in....which would be long after the 21st.


Im not kidding...i should sign N7YA/QRT "WE ALL GONNA DIE-SPECIAL EVENT". And send a certificate with "Hey, nice to see you're still alive!" on the front with the QSO info.

Im pretty burned out on the whole thing. Just like the elections, ill be relieved and mildly disappointed when the date passes and nothing changed.

Yeah, Harold Camping's version of this nonsense was much more fun. People actually were selling and giving away all their shit. This time around, people are stockpiling weapons and stuff. It just loses its entertainment value when it goes in that direction.

Agreed. Dangerous people pretty much suck. I have already started giving my shit away because its just a good idea.

I even tried dumping off a couple of my old rigs on Bob when he was here...thats a challenge for any ham with his wife in the car. :lol:
