If it was a little quieter, it would be easy to hear, your modulation quality is excellent
Same on this end, what I could hear sounded good. But we exchanged call signs and signal reports so we can both chalk up another Island QSO.

Kind of rude of them. That's not just my, frequency, it's the generally accepted PSK freq and it's way down in the CW section.

Carl has good sounding modulation, and if the noise level was just a little bit less, I would be able to hear him fine. Carl was S5, S6 here.

I see a strong signal at 7.037.119, if you see it also, we could use this to ensure our freq readings are tracking
Paul, I'm not sure how the display on the '7600 works but when you're tuned to 7037.15, you should see many PSK signals across a 2 kHz bandwidth. I'm seeing at least a half-dozen at the moment.

Yeah, I just found a YouTube video that shows what you've got. Pretty slick, but the window is kind of limited in bandwidth. I think that if you get on a clear freq between 7037.15 and 7039.15 and transmit, I'll be able to find your trace.
Remember you only need to be 100 Hz or so away from an adjacent signal

IC-2KL/AT-500 combo.

If it's anything like a PW-1, there's probably an imbalance between the RF modules.
When I got my first amp (AL-811), there was no need to have 220. When I got the AL-80B, it took about an hour to run the 220 line from the sub panel. Fortunately, it wasn't a long run. I think it was less than 30 feet. Worth every bit of trouble.
If anyone is getting together later on 75, I will be out to dinner with the wife at 7pm and probably not back home until 8:30PM. Somebody's going to have to hold the fort until I get back.

The pivot point on the lower right of the door assembly collapsed. Earlier today, I cleared the broken area, cut a piece of 2x4, glue, and replaced that section of the door. By now, the glue has set, I dropped a couple of finishing nails into it, then drilled the hole, and mounted that pivot point. Reassemble, mount door. Fixed.

There is a station on 7.1965 that is splattering 7.195... tune lower?
I'll listen wherever you folks are...just call it out.
Rats, I knew this was gonna happen!
My station is down temporarily; I built a patch panel to let me switch various antennas to various radios. Unfortunately, I ran out of time before I could make up the necessary jumpers.
I'm playing in the RTTY contest right now. See you guys afterwards.

I'm listening to the RTTY contest trash Network 105 (14.105 HF packet) and unfortunately won't get to work much of it.

Is that relic still around? :omg:
15m is doing well, just like yesterday.

I will try to get on the air this weekend for sure. I want to test that 15m Moxon I built and the SSN is up to 95 as of today so there may be some propagation.
I am RadioActive: Look for me on 40 (7.156) meters @ 00:30 zulu.
Trolling 20m. UA4HTT and UA4LCH worked in the last 10 minutes.
Time for bed. YY5NAT, YY5PEZ, and SV2HJQ on 40m.
We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Just out of bed, listening in on 160 for the usual morning chats with friends over the Netherlands ad Germany who will pop up in a minute or so.
Then off to 40 and above me thinks...
As I have some spare time on my hands, I am up for a sched or two for the next few months. At present, I can be found on 3.878 in the mornings from about 6am-ish until 8am, when I QSY to 3.856 until about 10am or so. I forgot to connect up my sound card interface prior to my becoming unable to do such for a few months, but am good to go on voice and CW. I say that, but please consider the fact that I am not a south paw and that is all I have to use for CW at the moment.
You know it's a good day on the bands when...

I did have to use the amp, however. I hate when that happens.... ;)

Must have been 8 weeks since i used the Heathkit SB-1000.... mostly 100 - 200 watts from the Ft 2000 D is enough.. ;)

That may be, but given what Jimmie (BX5AA) is running, he wasn't hearing me @ 100 watts. Take a look at his station on QRZ. Even with all that, he was only 5/4.
BTW, I should probably try 12m more often. 4X4FR 18:57Z 04/30/2013 24.961 55/55 ;)
That was 100W.

I know, that is the reason i keep the SB-1000, mostly for 160 but sometimes for the other bands as well 6dB can make or break a contact.

The other option is to put the antenna indoors, and the operator get as high as possible.
