View Full Version : Skeleton Sleeve Antenna WORKS!!
A recent QST had an article titled "6+2=1" detailing a 6m/2m antenna.
Driven element is made from a short section of 450 ohm ladder line, common coax feed.
I have a Ten Tec 6n2, so it was a perfect project.
I built it, it works as advertised, just letting members know.

Glad to hear it worked for you. I'd didn't think it had a ghost of a chance to work.

You have to approach the construction with the right Spirit.
And you can't be even a Shade off in your measurements.

You need not be so cryptic, and be sure to keep the dust off of it, otherwise you'll be coffin all damned day.
Yeah, you don't want to get the Joint dusty. It wouldn't be Humerus.

A lot of people install dipoles in their attic. Will these work installed in the closet?
EDIT: (You know. With the other sleeves?)
