It all started out simply enough. Earlier this month, Verizon told me that I was eligible for an upgrade. At first, I resisted--my Droid 2G seemed just fine even though I could not see the damned thing well enough to navigate internet anything. So sez I, maybe I should look at what is available now.

This led to the discovery of the Razr Maxx HD. Holy Christ on a crutch! :omg:

Wirefly got me in to it $100 cheaper than Verizon--but still it was $200. No mobile solution is complete without all the paraphernalia to make life grand. By the time I finished with the car mount, Seidio holster (had to use a Droid X as they don't have one for the Maxx yet), and other happy horseshit--another $120. Let me tell you though that this phone is the bomb. On any dimension I will stand it up against Apple and say "Suck Hind Tit Steve..."

Now that this sucked my wallet further dry--especially after the grand I sunk into new RF lab equipment--the wife decides that not only do we need the gutters on the house cleaned--we need to add gutter guards as well. I was OK with that--but was unprepared for what was coming next.

I shoulda known better. The last time I was in Home Despot with my honey (on a secret mission) it resulted in $2000 worth of LG front loader laundry gear. The sad end of this tale is that $2600 later we have a new refrigerator...:fever: Oh, and don't forget the cost of the gutter guards, new downspout drain system--and lotsa paint to redecorate the living room...

Given all of this, I am destitute. My budget for quarters of crack and hookers is exhausted--my sanity is at its end. Please help me survive this tragedy. I need to put up a Top Band antenna before the snow falls. Best reckoning puts this at ONLY a $2000 investment. So, I am asking all of you to donate. Send anything you can to my PayPal account--brokeham@consume.com at your earliest convenience.

Doing so will make JeezSuss love you even more! :snicker:

Can I send my donation in pesos?

Down here, there's an ample supply of crack, hookers and Home Depots. What you can't find is ham gear!

Print as needed (front and back, for your ink jet printer):

I couldn't get all the bills to fit in a large flat rate USPS box, and I'll be damned if I'll send it any other way. I believe in supporting my government and the pony express, sorry.

Sounds legit to me... Paypal donation sent. Never know when that top-band antenna will come in handy for an EmComm op.

$2600 for *one* fridge? really? all three fridges in my home (yes, three: one upstairs in the kitchen, one in the garage, and one small fridge in my office downstairs) cost a bit more than half that much ...

(and yes, they were all purchased new with random retail discounting available at the time. the office fridge got a further discount because it suffered a dent during shipping so i got amazon to give up some $$$ rather than shipping a replacement).

Tut, tut old man. Glad to help, glad to help. Been there, done that... walked into Home Depot one day with the YF to pick up a furnace filter, walked out with a $16,000 kitchen update. So I understand completely.

Feel free to use the attached with my compliments. This, plus your retirement income from your former management role Over Yonder should be just what you need to put you in the clear.

I'm one of those Lib'rul Loons that got stuff from Obama. He gave me a whole bunch of these. I guess you could use one. Just don't use it at Walmart. They have trouble cashing a mere million dollar bill...
