Well, we finally got some gasoline today. The car was down to 1/8 th of a tank. There are still plenty of gas lines and shortages. Most stations I saw seemed to have their electricity back so at least they could pump the gas. The station we went to only had regular gas at $4.59/gallon.. Premium/Hi-Test gas was sold out so we had to buy regular. No I;''ve got over half a tank which should last a while. Hopefully by the next call to fill the tank this post hurricane gas crisis will come to an end.

QQ I would be happy to pay 5$ a gallon. Regular here is about $7.40 per gallon. Just put 70€ in the car Monday.

$3.89/gal here. I thought that was high until I saw your posts. Probably will come down. Then again, there aren't too many after effects of Sandy here either.

The price for our gas at the moment is at $1.10 a liter,so multiply that about 4 times and you'll get an approximate price for an imperial gallon of gas...... we're the lucky recipients of the effects of the lastest gas war stunted by a few of the players who fancy themselves as influential bigtime gas merchants in the area. Let them fight it out......competition is good for the soul! :agree:
