Picked one up the other day. Anyone know of a good method? I know keyboards, so that's not the problem, what I need is information about the stops. Found a few online manuals, what I want is a hard copy book.

Hmmm....maybe I'll head to Timonium to get a microphonium to record my harmonium?

Outstanding! Thanks, Carl...

That's not the kind of harmonium I've got. Question: Is any reed organ that you pump a harmonium? Mine's an Indian harmonium that's smaller, almost portable, and you pump it with one hand. So, as it stands now, I couldn't play what's in that video. But...I'll bet I can get some sort of contraption to allow me to pump it with my feet, or even make one!

Extra credit points to whomsoever thought of Beavis and Butthead while reading that. I sure did while I was writing it!

Heh-heh.

"I use my feet! It's really neat!

Sounds a bit like a precursor to the Hammond organ.

The history is interesting. Kind of like the Enfield Motorcycle.

Must be a bit like a piano-accordion except that you pump the pedals instead of squeezing the bellows. You can buy "reeds" for the accordion and many seem to be made from thin brass.
It's a good piece of furniture even if some parts are plywood.
