All i hear when i turn on the rig is the beeping, i love it. I rarely ever venture up into the CB section of the bands, far too easy for people to be assholes on fone.

I love CW. It took me two years to learn it so I don't really want to let it go! My husband hates it though. He'll listen to dubstep and happy hardcore yet he hates the sound of CW. Like get angry with me if he hears it hates it. Go figure. Young people are stupid :snicker:

So were the aliens in Independence Day, pay close attention and you know why the military used Morse over today's digital modes and voice encryption. Oh, I've never seen anyone in real life use a telegraph key the way they do in the movies so they're stupid too. Then plugging a mic into the headphone jack of a shortwave receiver really takes the cake.
