Eh. Anyone can do "Talk Like a Pirate Day."

I prefer "Talk With a Pirate Day." Usually the last Friday home game of the season. Gates at PNC Park usually open an hour early.

Little Miss Field Day still hasn't quite forgiven the boss. She was posing for a picture with one of the pitchers (I'm pretty sure it was Brad Lincoln) last year, when another pitcher, Evan Meek, stuck his head in. And the Boss managed to erase the picture when she meant to show it off!

... once in awhile, the two dates converge. Last time it happened was 2008:

The question is, which pirate speak ?? There were so ,many dialects and so many mixtures of language, etc. Some "pirates" spoke proper English, and./or qwhatever was their language of origin. Others spoke dialects + heavy slang.
