Passed away as a result of a structure fire Saturday afternoon. His wife is in serious condition from what I've read elsewhere.

Not good at all.

Looks like FF's did what they could and were fortunate enough to save the wife.

It'll be interesting to find out the C&O of the fire. Must have been a fairly quick burn.

Looks like a lot of wood in the house, tinderdry it would go quickly.
Here we mostly have brick and concrete floors and walls, and smoke detectors mandatory...
