Anyone got one of those once-ubiquitous 365pf variable caps from an old MF broadcast radio that they want to unload? Need one for a loop antenna project I'm working on.

Is it for a passive receive only loop or for qrp power?

In other words, would a cheap polyester film (instead of air dielectric) like this be suitable?

It's receive only so pretty much anything would work. In fact, you mentioning that reminds me I have a dead clock radio that I may be able to cannibalize.

I got mine from an old clock radio.

Problem was, it would only receive WWV. ;)
