Outlook.com mail?

Thinking about moving over to Outlook.com mail. I guess it's Hotmail souped up like Gmail?

It's less cluttered than Live.Com. No big change, really. I'm using @msn.com and SkyDrive a bit more these days. With my Nokia Lumia phone... running Windows 7 Phone, aka "Mango". Already using the "tiles".
