While flying back from Fort Lauderdale today, we encountered some very nice turbulence. We must have dropped 500+ feet in a matter of seconds. The flight attendant was walking down the aisle collecting trash when this happened, her hang time was Olympic quality. She ended up with an ass plant on the floor and decided to ride it out there. The guy next to me had just gone to the restroom and was midway through his appointed duties. He finally came back to sit down and announced that after all that he didn't get a drop on him. I asked him if there was enough toilet paper to clean the other half. After a good laugh, we landed. No one was harmed in the making of this adventure.

That's why it's always a good reason to keep your seat belt buckled when you're in an airliner even if the captain has turned of the seat belt sign—you never know when you're going to run into clear air turbulence.

Why, yes. Of course that's correct. When I was a newly wed, the neighbors thought I had a Collie that was always howling, and didn't believe we had no dogs. Now they want to know if we are going to get another dog since they figured ours must of died over 30 years ago. Nosy bastids.
