Not able to rx the local NBC affiliate here. Just the luck of the draw that I'm betwen hills and both the Eau Claire and Rochester stations. I sourced the BBC content elsewhere.

I can see the TV towers from my apartment's patio, but I can't receive it. What a bunch of bunk. Since I'm too cheap for cable, I have to get all of my Olympic streaming from illegal streams on sites like justin.tv and ustream.

I have to pass the Olympic Park twice a day to and from work. Leaving London Liverpool Street the first sights you see as you reach Stratford is the; Motorway leading to the Blackwall Tunnel followed by a freight depot and a vandalished hopper wagon.

Someone at work said that a relative met some of the competitors. This morning a cyclist who cut across the Olympic lane nearly met two members of the South Korean delegation via their bonnet and windscreen.

It was unkindly remarked that when Muhammed Ali appeared with that lady supporting him, telling him to wave. It looked like a remake of Weekend at Bernies.

It must have been a good opening ceremony as on Saturday morning some people decided to have some community signing at 2.30 am in the railway station car park at the back of my house.

Is their anyone on here who is at the Olympics or is planning on going?
