A few days ago Vanessa and I went to see Ted. We expected it to be funny but we were wrong. It was hilarious. I highly suggest it to all. A scene from the movie which is for adults. (and not for the kiddies nor is it safe for work):

That looks mind numbingly stupid and juvenile, kinda like Bad Santa.

Means I'll like it.

Bill Maher said it's one of the funniest movies he's ever seen -- said he laughed so much he hurt by the time it was over. I fully plan on catching it.. maybe I'll even pay the $9 for a matinee.

When she looks like Meg Griffin.

How many ramen meals do you have to skip to pay for a redbox rental?

Freakin' LOVED that movie! But then, it's by Seth MacFarlane and I haven't seen him miss yet. How does one man get to have so much talent? There are some videos on Youtube of him giving a speech at Harvard where he does Family Guy voices -- worth checking out if you're a fan of Mr. MacFarlane.

Read somewhere that Seth first thogut of the movie as an animated feature but when he saw what they can do these days with motion capture he made it live action. Ted is totally believable!

Will probably see it again in a theater.

As for Mila Kunis...yea, she looks good up until she gets female irritating.

Unrelated aside....

That typo up there where I spelled "thought" "thogut" didn't get picked up by the spell-checker, so I thought I'd learned a new word. So I googled "thogut" but it didn't turn up anything useful. There was a hit to an Islamic Dictionary (http://www.islamic-dictionary.com/index.php?word=thogut) but it wasn't there either (so why the hit, Google?). Thought (or thogut?) I might have meant "hot tongue". WTF?
