A 2 kilo loaf of bread. Slightly large, no? Lol

(PS: Yeah, I have a hell of a buzz in the photo and I have a slight sunburn.)

I'll stick with croissants and baguettes and ciabattas freshly baked in our oven ;)

2 Kg bread is even for me a bit overdone, not bad feeding a family of 10 or so ;)

If you hollow it out, it'd make a nice little canoe.

Maybe if i send my son over... he's having the nick here of the garbage can, if i see what he dumps in his mouth during the day.....
Just like me not a growing waistline though, but expensive...
Made some Spanish bread, the large round one, stuffed with 1 kilo of shoarma meat, garlic sauce, lettuce and other veggies, he ate 3/4 of it in one go, for me the rest was almost too much..
Then see him slip away with 1.5 liter ice tea which was gulped away in 1/2 hour.
Now you know why we bought a new USA sized fridge freezer...

Now I want to bake unorthodox bread. Last loaf I made was 18 months back. It was heavy and cheesy but this time I'm thinking olives, green ones, stuffed. You know, the whole Spanish theme?

This is my bread. There are many like it but this bread is mine. (http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c79/bebop5/CheeseyBread.jpg)

My bread was 1 foot diameter and 2 inches thick, recepe from our local AH grocery.
Also sold here as Turkish bread in the shops.
Difference is the flour used, i always mix some garlic ( fresh ) in the dough.

What, you don't like bread that wears funny hats?

The new Samsung fridge freezer has A+ energy label, saves energy, can hold 350 liters of fridge stuffs, and 150 liters of frozen food, that's a lot of ice to gobble up ;)

Replaced the old one german made that still worked after 25 years, but started to fall apart.
405 KW/H use of electricity over a year is on the label, it's in the utility room with the washing machine and wash dryer, also new and energy efficient.

Goes dow to - 25 C ( freezer) separate controls for fridge and freezer sections digital read out and quick freeze/cooling settings etc.
Standard fridge freezers here just have 200 liters fridge and 90 liters freezer capacity, so this has a lot more room inside to keep stocked up.
Stainless steel outside, easy to clean, and no rust like the old one got in the end.
